The RTH-8166 is an MF-HF Transceiver designed for voice and DSC communication, it is compliant withThe appropriate international recommendations. The frequency range is 10 kHz to 30 MHz in reception and 1.5 to 30 MHz in transmission.
With an RF output power of 250 W (PEP) the radio supports the F1B (FM) and J3E (SSB) modulation modes. The radio includes automated scanning of MF/HF DSC frequencies. The radio comes with an additional guard receiver available as an option for continuous watch on DSC, independent from the voice operation.
The RTV-1124 Coast Station is a marine band VHF transceiver that supports narrowband FM/PM mode, designed to comply with GMDSS requirements for security and communications. The RTV-1124 also offers DSC functionality.
The unit has a form factor that allows it to be installed in a standard 19” rack four-unit frame (THU-1124). Each THU-1124 can host up to 4 radios.
The RTV-1124 can optionally be supplied with 100 W RF transmit power when combined with the RPA-1124 RF amplifier module. This module is housed inside the THU-1124 frame also. The RTV-1124 device offers IP connectivity.
